La maja desnuda.
In our bedroom, I’ve this lenticular postcard of Goya’s La maja desnuda (interlaced with La maja vestida), to which donfede added some of my spent cartridges & his 22s. Aren’t we the romantic pair!
It only recently occurred to me that our tableau calls to mind this scene in Gainsbourg (vie héroïque), which I’ve screen-capped below with sexy lyrics from ‘L’hôtel particulier’ thrown in for good measure.
Check out this amazing time lapse footage of 5 bis rue de Verneuil by Arnaud Jourdain. That’s Joann Sfarr himself towards the end, working his magic.
