Dumela!

Speaking of subjecting younger siblings to one’s megalomaniacal whimsje te présente ‘Tswana-Kiki.’

As diplobrats, we were afforded the great luxury of traveling the world & experiencing cultures vastly different from our own. Perhaps because I spent a good deal of my formative years in various parts of Africa, I remember it most fondly.

This is an analog photo of Kiki that I snapped way back in the last century (I will never, ever tire of saying that). We had so much fun taking these pictures — most of which turned out blurry because either I was laughing too hard or Kiki was running away from me too quickly.

Although the two of us can make a fair racket with our shells, neither of us has mastered the fine art of balancing baskets on our heads.

& to appease my sister for posting this old photo of her cute beh-beh legs, I might one day recount my English riding experiences in the Kalahari. ¹

Sala sentle,

¹ It involves Fruity Pebbles cereal & copious amounts of vomit. Actually, that’s pretty much the whole story.

You forgot the important part about the horseback riding story—the part where you bolted off the horse the wrong way while it was walking. Ahahaha.

Wait … are you referring to my graceless upside-down dismount, coupled with that mid-air hurl onto the gorgeous, untainted desert sand? Those snakes will forever crave the taste of regurgitated Fruity Pebbles, I’m telling you.
